The Nazca Lines of Peru

One of the most fascinating mysteries of the Ancient World are The Nazca Lines of Peru. Created sometime between 200 B.C. and 700 A.D., The Nazca Lines of Peru are a series of shapes, animals, and patterns that are only visible from high up in the air. According to historians, the Nasca believed that these shapes served as runways and symbols to direct those from the sky where to land. Also incredible is that there are over 15,000 different shapes, animals, and "runways" throughout the area. Below are some of the objects created by the Nasca.

Below are what lines created miles long that appear to be runways.

How did they make these shapes without being able to fly? Who were these runways for?

Also, found in an area close to the Nazca lines, archaeologists discovered golden objects dating back over 1000 years ago that not only resemble flying machines.

What is incredible is that when constructed on a larger scale out of different material by modern scientist Aldund Eenboom, the objects actually flew.

How did the people in Ancient South America know of this technology...
